When you use features like "Generate Flashcards," the text content from your documents is sent to our AI providers (e.g., OpenAI) via secure API calls.
- Data is used solely to generate the requested response.
- According to our providers' terms, your data is not used to train their public models (Enterprise/API policies).
- We store the generated result associated with your account.
6. Data Sharing
We only share your data with trusted sub-processors who help us operate the service:
- Hosting & Infrastructure: Vercel, Supabase (databases).
- AI Providers: OpenAI (for text generation).
- Authentication: Clerk/Auth services.
- Analytics: Microsoft Clarity (anonymized usage analytics).
We never sell your personal data to third parties.
7. Transfers Outside EU/EEA
Some of our providers (e.g., OpenAI, Supabase) may have servers in the US. When transferring data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure the level of protection through the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or other appropriate safeguards under GDPR.
